Information Tab

The Information Tab is where you set up the basic details of a course. While all fields are available for customization, the only required fields are:

✅ Title – The course name.
✅ Description – A short overview of the course.

Additional Course Details​

  • Instructors – Pick from an existing list, search for an instructor, or create a new one directly from this view.
  • Categories – Organize courses by assigning categories. You can search for existing categories or add new ones without leaving this page.
  • Video – Upload a feature video for the course, which can be used on the course sales page.
  • Thumbnail – Used for internal identification in the My Courses view, making it easier to distinguish courses.

Custom Fields​

Custom fields provide flexibility for content managers by allowing additional structured inputs without modifying the codebase.

Available Field Types:​

  • Input Field – Single-line text input.
  • Textarea Field – Multi-line text input.
  • Number Field – Stores numerical values.
  • Select Field – Dropdown with predefined options.
  • Boolean Field – Toggle between on/off.

These fields help content teams match course content with frontend designs, ensuring a scalable and adaptable course structure.
